Personal statement

I am a Research Associate at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering of the University of Strathclyde. My research interests are in the field of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). My expertise is in Lagrangian CFD formulation that I have previously applied in marine biology (cold-water corals) and marine engineering (sea-water air-conditioning) applications. I am currently working in understanding and characterising turbulent flows in agitated vessels, as part of the GSK Secondary Nucleation CFD project. Prior to joining the University of Starthclyde, I was a Research Associate at the University of Plymouth. I hold a PhD from the College of Sciences and Engineering of the University of Edinburgh.
